Gameweek 6 FPL Tips Fantasy Football Scout Premier League

Gameweek 6 Top Tips

This weekend there is more Premier League action as we launch into gameweek 6 of the Fantasy Premier League. Nacer Chadli was last rounds top scorer thanks to his 2 goals and 2 assists for West Brom against West Ham. Gameweek 6 sees the return of Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero following his 3 match ban, thanks to City’s League Cup tie. The deadline for all your transfers, wildcards and captain nominations for Gameweek 6 is 11:30am (BST) on the 24th of September, 2016. Lets have a look at our player tips for the gameweek:

Top Player Tips

1) Sergio Aguero £13.0 (Manchester City)

Sergio Aguero £13.0 (Manchester City)
This one seems like a obvious no-brainier to us, but Fantasy Premier League pro’s will know – if Sergio Aguero is plying then he should be in your team. Aguero will be fresh coming off his 3 match ban, with his previous match coming in the Champions league where he scored a hattrick. Aguero has 3 goals from 3 matches in the Premier League this season. The only question is around his price tag, and how to free up the funds to make room in your team for his. His current ownership is sitting at 31.0% going into the weekend, as opposed Zlatan Ibrahimovic who’s sitting at 59.0%. Moving Aguero early may allow you to beat the rush and score extra points. Manchester City travel to Swansea, who sit 15th in the league, for gameweek 6. Swansea are winless in 4 and looks like that should be another W for Man City.

2) Sadio Mané £9.0 (Liverpool)

Sadio Mané £9.0 (Liverpool)
Liverpool’s back to back wins against champions Leicester City and Chelsea in the past two gameweeks have cemented their position in the top half of the table and a thread for the Champions League places. Klopp has his team playing a very attacking brand of football again, which means lots of shots and goals. Recent niggling injuries to Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino mean our preferred safer option for an attacking threat in Liverpool’s lineup is summer signing Sadio Mané. Mane has 2 goals and an assist to his name so far this season from 4 matches. His pace makes him a constant threat playing off a false 9 in Liverpool’s system. Liverpool entertain 12th placed Hull in gameweek 6. Hull are winless in 3 while Liverpool will be looking to make it a third win in a row.

3) Roberto Pereyra £6.0 (Watford)

Roberto Pereyra £6.0 (Watford)

Our third and final pick for gameweek 6 is Watford’s Argentinian midfielder Roberto Pereyra. Pereyra is atop quality arrival to the Watford squad this summer, arriving with back-to-back
Serie A champion titles with Juventus. With Champions League experience and used to playing alongside the likes of Messi & Aguero in the Copa América, Pereyra has the pedigree to take Watford to the next level. A goal on his debut against Arsenal followed by an assists in his past 2 matches sees him with a return of 1 goals and 2 assists from 2.5 matches this season.
Watford looked impressive in Gameweek 5, beating Manchester United at home 3-1. With ownership of just 0.9% looks like a great differentiator, and someone who will gain a bandwagon following in the coming weeks given their fixture run. Watford now have the most favorable October out of any club, facing Burnley (Away), Bournemouth (Home), Middlesbrough (Away), Swansea (Away) and Hull (Home). That’s 5 matches in a row against lower league teams. It terms of his price range, Roberto Pereyra seems like a better option for upcoming points return than alternatives such as Nathan Redmond or Andros Townsend.
