We are back for Gameweek 32 of the Fantasy Premier League this weekend. Last week we saw defending champions Manchester City drop down to fourth place on the table after a loss to Crystal Palace. Arsenal continued their good form and jumped up to second, while both QPR & Aston Villa delivered goals in their double gameweek, to the benefit of those punters who gambled on loading up on players from those two clubs.
FPL Managers should plan ahead this Gameweek, as Arsenal, Sunderland, Aston Villa & QPR don’t have matches in Gameweek 33 – so ensure you’ll have adequate cover for next week. Changes for Gameweek 32 need to be finalized by the 11:30am (GMT) on the 11th of April.
Lets check out our top tips for Gameweek 32 for Fantasy Premier League managers:
1) Glenn Murray £5.1m (Crystal Palace)
After knocking off the defending champions last weekend, Crystal Palace are on our radar for Gameweek 32. After an injury ravaged last 12 months, Glenn Murray has forced his way into Alan Pardew’s starting 11 and has 2 goals and 2 assists in his last two matches. Murray was devastating in Palace’s promotion season, scoring 30 goals before injury forced him out. He returned to the Championship on load to Reading earlier this season, scoring 8 goals and getting invaluable match time. He now has 13 goals for the season, and offers Palace a target man through the middle to offer linking play with their speedy wingers. Having beaten Manchester City, the fixture list is looking much healthier for Crystal Palace, with their next three matches all against lower table relegation battlers. Gameweek 32 sees them away to Sunderland, then it’s two home matches on the trot to West Bromwich Albion and Hull City in gameweeks 32-33. At 5.1m Murray is dirt cheap and if they can brush off Manchester City, then Palace are looking good for a little run through April.
2) Jordan Henderson £6.6m (Liverpool)
Our second tip for Gameweek 32 is Liverpool’s new captain elect – Jordan Henderson. What a great season the young Englishman is having – already with 6 goals and 8 assists in the EPL this season so far. In fact he has 4 goals in his last 5 league games. One could argue that Henderson has taken his game to another level this season and looks to be growing into the shoes vacated Steven Gerrard. Liverpool have hit a bump in their league form of late, losing out to two other Champions League place contenders Manchester United and a 4-1 loss to Arsenal at the weekend. But their future fixture run is looking much healthier – Gameweek 32 sees them back at home to Newcastle United. Then it’s Hull City away, West Bromwich Albion away and Queens Park Rangers at home in gameweeks 33-35. With Manchester City slipping down to fourth on the table, they are the target for Liverpool – and that run of fixtures looks like it could result in a nice bounce back to form for Liverpool. Despite the drumming last weekend at the hands of Arsenal, Henderson still managed a goal from the penalty spot – another bonus for his inclusion for Gameweek 32.
3) Eden Hazard £11.2m (Chelsea)
Our third and final pick for Gameweek 32 is the top points scorer in the Fantasy Premier League this season – Chelsea’s Eden Hazard. Chelsea look all but certain to take the EPL title this season, with a 7 points lead over their rivals and a game in hand. There most consistent performer this season has to be Hazard, with his 12 goals and 8 assists. It’s his bonus points haul that is the most impressive though, with 37 points – have taken the 3 bonus points in 10 games this season. He is there go-to man when they need some magic to break through a resilient defense. In gameweek 31 Hazard setup the winner against a resilient stoke team. Gameweek 32’s opponents for Chelsea are 18th placed Queens Park Rangers. Last time these teams met in the league earlier this season it was a 2-1 win to QPR with Hazard on the score sheet. FPL managers should also keep in mind that Chelsea have a double gameweek in gameweek 34 at the end of April, so do ensure you take advance of that double bit at points coming up.
